Melodic death metal rockers Amon Amarth will be powdering Australian stages this March. After playing their set at Download Festival 2018, they will be heading to UNSW Roundhouse in Sydney and The Tivoli Theatre in Brisbane to bring a tsunami of heavy guitar riffs, amplified distortion and growling vocals.
Since forming in 1992, the Swedish rockers have been filling the airwaves with Norse mythology-themed music and lyrics. Throughout their over 20-year career, they have released 11 studio albums, with 2008’s ‘Twilight Of The Thunder God’ being considered as their most successful one. It notched the 50th spot on Billboard 200, while also being included in Metal Hammer’s list of the best rock albums in that year.
Joining them as support will be their power metal folks Sabaton. They will be blowing roofs as they play the songs off their almost two-decade career including “Ghost Division”, “Primo Victoria”, “Coat of Arms”, “Uprising” and many more.
Grab your tickets and be in for a double metal treat from Amon Amarth and Sabaton this 2018!
